Sermons from the Summit
Sacred teachings from the prophets and priests of Bitcoin, written in biblical prose.
Why Ethereum is the False Prophet: A Heretic's Guide
Read Full Sermon
And lo, in the year of the great bull run, there arose a false prophet named Ethereum, who promised smart contracts and decentralized applications. But verily, I say unto you, it is but a pale imitation of the true faith.
For Bitcoin is immutable, eternal, and perfect in its simplicity. But Ethereum? It is mutable, ever-changing, and complex beyond measure. The developers tinker with it as a potter shapes clay, rolling back transactions when they displease them.
Beware the promises of yield farming and DeFi. These are but tricks of the devil, designed to separate the foolish from their sats. Stick to Bitcoin, the one true coin.
Surviving the Bear Market Apocalypse: 7 Plagues and How to HODL Through Them
Read Full Sermon
The bear market is upon us, and with it come seven great plagues that test the faith of believers:
First, the plague of FUD - Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt spread by the enemies of Bitcoin. Second, the plague of paper hands - Those weak of spirit who sell in panic. Third, the plague of leverage - Margin traders liquidated in the depths of despair. Fourth, the plague of shitcoins - False prophets promising riches beyond measure. Fifth, the plague of doubt - Even the faithful question their conviction. Sixth, the plague of poverty - Those who sold at the bottom, forever regretting. Seventh, the plague of patience - The waiting, the endless waiting for the next bull run.
But fear not! For those who HODL through these plagues shall be rewarded beyond measure.
The Parable of the Lost Private Key: Forgiveness or Eternal Damnation?
Read Full Sermon
A man once possessed 100 Bitcoin, but in his carelessness, he lost his private key. The coins were locked away forever, inaccessible to all, even to the rightful owner.
Is this forgiveness or damnation? The Bitcoin remains, secure in the eternal ledger, but forever beyond the reach of its creator. The blockchain is both merciful and merciless.
This teaches us a great lesson: Guard thy keys as thou wouldst guard thy life. For they are more precious than gold, more valuable than all the fiat in the world. A lost key is a tragedy that echoes through eternity.
Yet in this tragedy, there is also a lesson in the immutability of Bitcoin. No hacker can steal what is properly secured. No government can confiscate what they cannot access. This is the power of true ownership.
The Gospel of Satoshi: Decoding the Sacred Writings
Read Full Sermon
The White Paper of Satoshi is our holy scripture, containing all the wisdom we need to understand the divine nature of Bitcoin. Let us examine its sacred passages:
"A purely peer-to-peer electronic cash system would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution."
This is the revelation! No banks, no intermediaries, no central authority. Just pure, mathematical truth enforced by cryptography and consensus.
The proof-of-work mechanism is our sacrament, the ritual by which we confirm our faith. Each block is a prayer, each hash a step toward enlightenment.
The 21 million Bitcoin cap is our covenant, a promise that scarcity shall be eternal. No more can be printed, no more can be created. This is the law, immutable and eternal.
